Rgest crocodian ever as there was a contest and Ingen barely won it.It lived in the same time as Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus and they had multiple fights. Here is the most famous herbivore ever.A herd of Triceratops. They will get sick every once in a while, like our Stegosaurus.1 of the plants has poison which gets them sick.Īs you look beside you you see a herd of 43ft long Stegosaurus.Like our Triceratops they get sick evey once in a while because of the plant poison.Īs you look to your left, you see a dead Ournosaurus being fed upon by our 55ft long,17 ton Sarchosuchus. We had to work very hard to get the la But the same could be said for Spinosaurus, who received lots of attention even when almost nothing was known about it.As you look beside you you see a pack of 12 Velociraptor wandering. We have put guns that will keep them calm so they won't esacpe and cause deaths all over the park.Ĭarcharodontosaurus,The 3rd largest carnivore ever shared The African plains with the African king,Spinosaurus. They did fight over food but we have separted them so if they break out they would not fight and destory the park. It was a theropod that rivaled T.rex in size, so why was there zero focus on it? One could argue that it's due to the fragmentary nature of it's remains and the destruction of it's fossils. Why is that? You'd think that Carcharodontosaurus would have been very interesting as well. None of them even mentioned Carcharodontosaurus.
So considering this is all rather similar, why did Carcharodontosaurus get so little attention compared to Spinosaurus? In almost all dinosaur books/magazines I read as a kid (most were published in the early 90s I think) it had a section about Spinosaurus. It wasn't until somewhat recently that more fossils from both animals were discovered. Both of them were known from fragmentary remains. Thank you for your cooperation.īoth of them were discovered and described long ago, even before WW2.

So generally, anything dinosaur-related is welcomed here, including some things which are definitely not dinosaurs (like a dimetrodon) but sometimes excluding things that ARE definitely dinosaurs ( this is a SFW sub).Ĭomments that are not about dinosaurs don't belong here, regardless of context.īone -vs- Stone: How to Tell the Difference We have always allowed pterosaurs and pliosaurs, and even sometimes something that isn't one of those (like a synapsid). It sounds super obvious, but we need to just come out and say it, because we also allow a tiny bit of wiggle room. That being said, come on in and share in the wonderful world of Dinosaurs and Paleontology! Please don't downvote well written comments just because you don't agree with the opinion.
